According to my experience and usage, I would regard Manhattan Platinum Credit Card as the best credit card at present in India because they are the one and only credit card in India which offers you a flat 5% cash back on your spends on departmental stores and/or super markets in India.  This I can assuringly say that no other credit cards in India offers.  This I am saying because the purchase you are going to make at the super markets and departmental stores are mostly essential purchases like the home needs, vegetables, groceries, etc.  For those who don’t know Manhattan Credit Card is part of the Standard Chartered Bank Credit Cards.

 

The only condition is that you will need to make a minimum purchase of Rs. 500 each time to get the cash back on your purchase.  This cash back will be credited to your credit card statement on the same month of your purchase and hence you can see the saving that you are making every month on your monthly grocery and department store bills.
